Transparency Star
The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts launched the Transparency Star Program to recognize local government entities across Texas that are striving to meet the high standard for financial transparency online. The “Transparency Stars Program” recognizes local government entities that provide easy online access to important financial data. Red Oak ISD received a star in the area of Traditional Finances, which recognizes entities for their outstanding efforts in making their spending and revenue information available.
