Facility Request
-
External Organizations Rentals
Use of school facilities by non-district entities will be coordinated through the District for coordination of the campus availability. All athletic facilities will be cleared through the Athletic Department. Requests for the use of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) will be cleared through the Fine Arts Director. District Administration will determine the availability of the facility and determine personnel needs including security, custodial, technology, and administration and invoice organizations for rental fees and personnel.
Internal Requests/Reservations for Use of Facility
All internal groups shall file requests for the use of any facility with the campus where the facility is located. All athletic facilities will be cleared through the Athletic Department. Requests for the use of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) will be cleared through the Fine Arts Director. All Event Request forms must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the event date. Before final approval of the request, District Administration will review the appropriateness of the venue for the event requested and the availability of the facility and determine personnel needs including security, custodial, technology, and administration and invoice school/group for rental fees and personnel.
Availability
School buildings and other facilities shall be considered for groups that wish to conduct activities which promote, stimulate and foster the interest of students and the community, as well as activities which promote the efficiency of the school district, so long as such activities do not conflict with the school program. Programs serving District students will be given priority for use. The Superintendent, in conjunction with the Board, reserves the authority to allow or reject any application for the use of ROISD facilities. The guidelines (available in Facility Use Packets) shall pertain to all groups who desire to use schools and/or other facilities in accordance with this policy.
