Director of Specialized Learning

Rebecca is so proud to serve as the Director of Specialized Learning in Red Oak ISD.  Before beginning in this role, she was the principal at Wooden Elementary from 2014-2020, and she served as the assistant principal at Wooden for 5 years previous to becoming the principal.  Rebecca graduated with her bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, and her master's degree from The University of North Texas, and she is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership at West Texas A&M University. She has two awesome children, Estella and Sebastian, and she is married to Alfred Vega. Rebecca is a product of the Red Oak ISD as she went to school here from second through twelfth grade. Mrs. Vega is an advocate for all students, and she is so glad and thankful to be part of this amazing school district.
