Welcome to Red Oak Middle School

Red Oak Middle School consists of approximately 1500 students and 100+ dedicated professionals in the Spring of 2023. Red Oak Middle School students are provided opportunities to explore in depth topics in all five core subject areas: math, reading, English, social studies and science. Students are provided the opportunity to choose three extracurricular classes from course selections such as robotics, choir, athletics, band, fine arts and foreign language. Teachers and students collaborate to create a safe and productive experience each and every day. Teachers are available for parent conferences and tutorials as needed. Please contact your child's teacher or the Red Oak Middle School front office if you have any additional questions or concerns.

ROISD Pre-K Enrollment and Round Up
Red Oak ISD offers FREE, full-day Pre-K at all five elementary campuses and will open online enrollment on Tuesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. Pre-K enrollment will be time-stamped when completed online and slots will be filled based on the completion time. On Tuesday, April 9 from 12-6 p.m. ROISD will hold a districtwide Pre-K Round Up.

ROISD amends calendar for Solar Eclipse
Red Oak ISD Board voted on February 26 to amend the school calendar for this year due to the April 8 Solar Eclipse. The District, which was previously scheduled for a staff development day, will now have a District holiday with all schools and offices closed.

Red Oak ISD will no longer be posting on Twitter/X the Board Meeting agenda items live during the meeting. Board Meetings are streamed live for our community and posted on YouTube following the meetings.

ROISD joins TEA Lawsuit
The Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted in favor of joining the litigation challenging the Texas Education Agency's (TEA) failure to provide Texas school districts advanced notice of measures, methods, and procedures to be used in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years prior to the start of each of these school years in violation of State law.
