Director of Health Services

My name is Susan Brown, and I am a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. I worked in Boston at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital for three years after graduation. I first worked in a medical/surgical unit and then as Charge Nurse in the kidney transplant unit. I moved to the Dallas area and worked at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on a GI unit and then as an educator in the In Service Department for Nursing Services. I also worked for 5 OB/Gyn doctors at Medical City Hospital for thirteen years. I have been a school nurse for Red Oak ISD for 22 years. I started my school nursing career at Red Oak High School and then moved into the position of Director of Health Services. I am a member of the National Association of School Nurses.

My husband of 34 years, Terry Brown, and I have one son. Jordan is a graduate of Texas Tech University. He is married and lives in the DFW area.
