Greetings and welcome to Red Oak ISD!

Tonya Thompson is the Red Oak ISD DAEP Administrator, responsible for ensuring continued education for students who have been administratively removed from campus.  She is a member of the Texas Association of Alternative Educators and serves on both, the scholarship and conference committees.  She earned her bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education from Southern Methodist University and her master's degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University - Commerce.  Tonya's career in education has included: high school English teacher in Dallas ISD, high school Assistant Principal and Dean of Instruction in DeSoto ISD and in 2009, she accepted the position as Red Oak HS Associate Principal.
