Health Services Department
Research shows that healthy children do better in school - from attendance and behavior to academics and overall performance. Red Oak ISD believes that the ability to learn at school is directly related to the status of a student’s health. We are dedicated to supporting current health initiatives. Together, we can help our students establish healthy behaviors and practice good health habits every day.
All immunizations must be current in order for students to register and pick up school schedules.
Passport Health/Staying Healthy Medical Services will be a conducting children’s vaccination clinic during the Back to School and Health Fair on August 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Red Oak High School to help you get your student up to date before school starts. The company will charge $10.00 per shot with no insurance. If you have insurance that Passport Health accepts, then they will file with the insurance company and there will be no money out of pocket. Everyone needs to bring their shot record with them to the event along with insurance information. For more information download the Back to School Immunization flyer.
