Employer Paid Benefits

  • Red Oak ISD offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes employer-paid benefits.  The employer- paid benefits are listed below with links to related details.

    Basic Life and AD&D

    The district pays 100% of the premium for your $10,000 basic life insurance that includes Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage.  You are eligible if you are an active full-time employee who works at least 15 hours per week on a regularly scheduled basis.

    Employee Assistance Program

    All employees enrolled in the Basic Life and AD&D Insurance coverage also have access to free resources offered through The Hartford.  Free resources include, but are not limited to, counseling services.


    All eligible employees have free access to telehealth coverage through MDLIVE.  This telehealth coverage should not be confused with the TRS-ActiveCare Health Plan Teladoc Virtual Health option that will charge a consultation fee.  MDLIVE is free for employees, their spouse, and/or dependents.
