• ROHS Alumni Association selects Grady Chapman as 2007 Distinguished Alumni

     

    Grady Chapman was born in Ovilla, and has lived in the Red Oak area his entire life. His accomplishments are many, and include being Valedictorian of his graduating class, playing on the first Hawk football team and the first indoor basketball team.

    He served in the US Air Corp, is retired from Aetna Insurance Co. and has served Red Oak in many capacities his entire life. He was Red Oak’s first City Secretary, on the City Council and School Board, served as Lions Club Secretary and President and was also Mayor of the City of Red Oak.

    He still serves today on the Leadership Council of the Red Oak Baptist Church, of which he’s been a member since childhood. His wife and 2 children are also ROHS graduates.
