Denise started working with ROISD as a substitute teacher in 2004. In 2006 she joined the curriculum department, as an instructional support technician. She has watched the district grow and appreciates the changes being made to help our students accomplish their goals. 

She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Shayne, for 38 years. They have two children, Christopher and Danielle, who are both Engineering Majors ( proud mom!!!)  They have two grandsons, Cedric and Theodore, who live in South Carolina. It's hard being so far from them, but technology helps, they love to face time. She loves animals, her dog Coco is spoiled rotten. She also loves to travel, finding new places to explore. In her free time she enjoys cruising, reading and being with family.
