Instructional Technology Coordinator

Laura began her career right here in Red Oak ISD in 1998 teaching 7th and 8th-grade ELAR.  She then moved to the high school and taught English I as well as coached the drill team for 14 years.  In this role, she was also able to start the dance program at the high school.  For 2 years she served as summer school principal.  After several years in the classroom, she transitioned to an instructional coach of Technology for the district as well as a teacher for our former iScholars Virtual Academy.  She then became the Secondary English Language Arts and Reading and Social Studies Coordinator as well as district-wide Coordinator of Digital Services.  Her current role is the Instructional Technology Coordinator K-12, LOTE and Fine Arts Coordinator as well as support for our Library Media Specialists.

Laura graduated from Red Oak High School along with her husband, and is proud to be a part of the Alumni Association to promote and recognize fellow Red Oak High School alumni.  Both their daughters attend Red Oak ISD schools.  They are also involved in our local community serving on the Red Oak Baseball and Softball Association Board and supporting all things Red Oak!
