    ROHS After-School Car Rider Pickup CHANGE on Dec. 10

    Due to the live televised Toys for Tots event on Tuesday, December 10 from 5-8 pm, the afternoon car rider pickup area has been moved for that day only. The afternoon car rider pickup location will be the band parking lot area on the North side of the building. You must enter that area off of Lowrance Rd. near the C parking lot.

    Parking Permits Required for All Student Cars

    This is a reminder that students are required to have a parking permit to park on campus. Students who fail to purchase a parking permit may have their driving privileges revoked.

    Community approved Bond Propositions

    The Red Oak ISD community approved all three bond propositions on May 3. The propositions address growth, student opportunities, and aging facilities across the school district at a total of $213.9 million.

    Lady Hawks - 3 Gold, State 2nd Place in Track

    Congratulations to the 2025 Lady Hawks Track Team for an outstanding showing at the State Meet, May 2-3. They finished with three gold medals and second in 5A overall, scoring 54 points.

    From Red Oak Classrooms to Medical School

    Laney Lord has been a proud part of Red Oak ISD since kindergarten, graduating from Red Oak High School in 2016. Throughout her time in the district, she was very involved, playing softball, participating in agricultural science (Ag), and engaging in a variety of school activities that helped shape her high school experience.

    Red Oak ISD students sweep Ellis Co. Spelling Bee

    Congratulations to the Red Oak ISD campus Spelling Bee champions! In December and January, ROISD students in grades 4-8 participated in the Scripps Spelling Bee at their campus. First-place winners from each campus advanced to the Ellis County Spelling Bee on February 6 in Waxahachie, which was won by Ivana George of Red Oak Middle School (Gr. 6). Ethan Hernandez of Shields Elementary (Gr. 4) was the Ellis County Runner Up.

    ROISD adds 13 student-athletes to collegiate signings

    Red Oak High School and ROISD Athletics hosted college-bound student-athletes, their families, friends, and coaches for National Signing Day to complete their letters of intent on February 5, 2025. Thirteen additional student-athletes confirmed their intent to various colleges next fall.

    ROHS Naval JROTC passes Military Inspection

    On Wednesday, January 29, the Red Oak High School Naval JROTC assembled for inspection by Commander Scott Hanna, NJROTC Area 19 Manager. The program consists of approximately 100 cadets in five units.
