How I Got Here
After practicing law for almost 10 years I was called to do something more meaningful with my life.  I completed an Alternative Certification program and started teaching in 2002.  I have taught primarily Chemistry, Physics, and physical sciences along with Automation and Robotics, Math Models, and Algebra II.  Last year was my first year in the Red Oak ISD and I taught Integrated Physics and Chemistry.
I am genuinely excited to be teaching Algebra I this year, and I welcome the challenge of teaching a state-tested subject.  I regard this as an opportunity to help my students (this year close two hundred!) achieve an important requirement toward earning their high school diplomas.  My teaching style involves teaching more than just my academic topic; I endeavor to guide students in learning important life skills and lessons such as responsibility, work ethic, and treating all persons with dignity and respect.
