Welcome Students and Parents!!!

I am an Art 1 teacher here at Red Oak High School.  My journey as an educator began in 2021 as a middle school art teacher in Terrell ISD, which transitioned to middle school in Garland ISD, and now high school here in ROISD.  Having a major in Studio Arts has allowed me to become well-versed in all art mediums, but my two strengths reside in Illustration and Sculpture.  My teaching philosophy is to enrich the creativity and the imagination of all my young artists and to help them find their niche in the ever-evolving art world.  

I am a native Dallas-ite!  Being an 80s baby, I am a self-professed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Ghostbusters nerd. My other hobbies include video games, art (OF COURSE!), family outings, and playing the drums.  My students will learn much more about me as the year goes on.
