Welcome to Peer Coaching I & II

I am so excited to meet all of my new peer coaches and introduce each of you to the best year of your life! 

I graduated from Texas Christian University in 1997 and began teaching immediately. I married the love of my life, Terry Smith, in 2005. We have two beautiful girls, Macie and Payton, and a super handsome Bulldog named Shiner and a Beagle named Bourbon! I am a hat lover and owner of the Floozy Moose.

Throughout the years, my teaching assignments have evolved in order to meet student needs.  I have had the honor of being part of Red Oak High School's most innovative program, Peer Coaching!  This program provides Special Education and 504 students extra support while learning in the least restrictive environment. The legacy that peer coaches leave to their mentees will last a lifetime.  ♥
