I'm a native born Texan, born and raised in Arlington. I attended UT and graduated with a Philosophy degree. After toiling away in the restaurant business for a decade, I made one of the most important decisions of my life; I went back to school to get my teaching certificate. Since 2016, I have taught English IV and AP English Lit at Duncanville high school. Desiring a change of scenery and an opportunity in a smaller district, I was honored to receive an offer from Red Oak high school. Being my fourth year here, I am beyond excited to continue this next step in my teaching career. It feels so good to be a hawk....

My summer was incredibly life-changing; I married the love of my life right at the end of the 2023/2024 school year, and we have 3 boys, a sweet pup, and a cat, whom my wife calls "Porkchop." Yes, she is incredibly thin. I am a ridiculously fortunate man for the life that I have. 

I am the sole AP ENG Lit teacher and a proud member of the ENG IV team. I arrive at school early each day to meet with students, and I am available every day after school if students need any tutoring. The best way to contact me is through email.
