Mr. Brett Haugh is returning to Hawk Nation, this time as the principal of Red Oak High School. Mr. Haugh previously served as a ROHS teacher/coach and then assistant principal from 2014-2018. Since then he has served as principal of Italy High, Mabank High, and Redwater High near his hometown of Texarkana. Haugh graduated from Texas A&M Texarkana with his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. He holds multiple Teacher Certifications, including EC-12 Principal and Superintendent, and is a member of the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals.

“My core values as a principal are to raise academic standards, inspire teachers, and work with all stakeholders toward the goal of student learning,” said Haugh.

He and his wife Elizabeth, also an educational administrator, have three boys who will be attending ROISD schools after they move back this summer.
