"Over the past 17 years, I have been privileged to work with diverse groups of students and educators, fostering a love for learning and guiding both students and teachers towards academic excellence."

Hello! Welcome to my page! I’m thrilled and excited to be a part of the Red Oak ISD family and community. I am the Social Studies Instructional Coach for the Middle and High School campuses. Holding a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Elementary Education with a focus on Reading from Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, I’ve been serving and teaching since 2006.

My teaching experience spans grades 1 through 6. I began my career in Arkansas, teaching first grade, and later moved to Texas, where I taught fourth grade at a STEM and STEAM campus. I’ve also taught third and sixth grades in Texas and served as an Instructional Coordinator and Coach for all subjects in grades 6-8, and as a Reading Coach for grades 3-9. Additionally, I’ve supported teachers in other content areas for grades 9-11.

I’m also proud to be part of a blended family of six and have been married since 2015. Balancing my professional and family life, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for all. I look forward to collaborating and partnering with parents, students, and fellow educators to ensure a successful and rewarding school year for everyone.

My Why: "Watching my younger brother struggle with education, especially reading, as a kid ignited my journey to help every child discover the joy and power of education and reading." ~ Mrs. Shanteze Morris
