Hello, I am excited to serve as a Red Oak High School Assistant Principal!

I am a parent of two amazing daughters; Kiersten, who is a current 11th grader, and Kiara, who is a proud TCU alumnus. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Paul Quinn College. I also have a Master of Education in Administration and a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. 

It is my pleasure to be the assistant principal for our 10th-12th grade students (Alpha L-R). This is my 21st year in education. I have taught 6th-8th grade ELAR, English 1, English IV, Creative Writing, and Advanced Reading. I have served as a Cheer coach, NJHS advisor, and Academic Decathlon sponsor. 

As an assistant principal, I am committed to the academic advancement of all students and the continuous development of our educational staff, by establishing a safe and motivating learning environment. 

I am excited to serve the students, staff, and the amazing community of Red Oak ISD!
