Welcome to Red Oak Middle School

Red Oak Middle School consists of approximately 1400 students and 100+ dedicated professionals. Red Oak Middle School students are provided opportunities to explore in depth topics in all five core subject areas: math, reading, English, social studies and science. Students are provided the opportunity to choose three extracurricular classes from course selections such as robotics, choir, athletics, band, fine arts and foreign language. Students are encouraged to participate in clubs and organizations such as HADDIT, National Junior Honor Society and Renaissance. Teachers and students collaborate to create a safe and productive experience each and every day. Teachers are available for parent conferences and tutorials as needed. ROISD earns ‘A’ in FIRST Rating
Red Oak ISD announced the district earned a Superior Achievement grade of ‘A’ on the 2022 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report. The rating is based on the financial data from the 2020-2021 fiscal year. ROISD scored 94 points this year; a four-point improvement over the score of 90 the past two years.

Board Candidate Filing Jan. 18-Feb. 17
Candidate filing dates for the Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees election are January 18 through February 17, 2023. Interested candidates may pick up and submit a candidate packet at Red Oak ISD.

ROISD offers SchoolCash Online payment option for parents/guardians
Red Oak ISD recently implemented a new online payment system, SchoolCash Online, that makes it easier and more convenient for parents/guardians to pay student activity and registration fees.

ROISD launches See Something Say Something
Red Oak ISD is launching an aggressive anti-bullying campaign aimed at both preventing and reporting bullying behavior. The See Something, Say Something program gives students reminders to be kind and the tools to report inappropriate behavior through STOPit. The program has an app that can be downloaded or reports can be made online.

ROISD retains B rating by the state; Two elementary schools earn ‘A’s
Red Oak ISD retained a B rating from the Texas Education Agency for the 2021-22 school year.

STAAR Student Results Online
PARENTS: EOC Scores are available as of June 16, 2022. Results for students in grades 3-8 will be posted by June 24, 2022.
