My name is Dr. Cynthia R. Maye.  This is my second year as an Instructional Coach and I have learned so much about communication and growth.  Sometimes we do not know the plans that he has for you!  I have a thirst to learn something each year.  I yearn to grow and get better each year.  I understand my journey as I maneuver through coaching teachers in Science.  I was born in Jesup, GA and I was raised in Laurel, MS.  I am married with 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  I attended Northeast Jones High School and graduated a long time ago.  I then attended William Carey University on a basketball and academic scholarship.  I graduated from William Carey University and enlisted in the United States Army as a Pharmacy Technician.  I spent 20 years in the military and retired and moved to Houston, TX and started teaching.  I have taught 6th grade Science, 7th grade Science, 8th grade Science, and Integrated Physics and Chemistry.  I have coached basketball, track, academic teams.  I host a coding club where I teach coding basics with an end of the year project.  I obtained my degree from William Carey University (Information systems and Technology-Bachelors), University of Phoenix (Masters in Information systems, Doctorate of Management in Information Systems and Technology), Lamar University (Masters in Education - Digital Leading and Learning).
