Hi!  My name is Laura McAbee.  I am the FOCUS Teacher for ROMS.  I'm starting my 20th year of education, and I'm excited about joining the ROMS Team.  

I graduated from Texas A&M- Commerce in 2004. I am married to Mike, and have 4 children - Kyrie and Kaden, who are my biological children, and Steven and Brandi, who are my stepchildren. 

Things that I love are turtles and traveling. 

My motto in life is to "Be Like A Turtle".  Move forward, learn from my mistakes, and don't dwell on the past.

I'm looking forward to a great year at ROMS.
