Hello and welcome to 6th grade math! My name is Mrs. Davis, and I am thrilled to be your child's math teacher this year. Teaching and math are two of my greatest passions, and I am excited to share this journey with you. I bring with me six years of classroom experience, and this will be my second year teaching at the middle school level. I am committed to creating a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, ensuring that every student feels accomplished in their math journey. I have a wonderful family that includes my husband, with whom I will be celebrating our twenty-year anniversary this year, and our three sons. My two older sons are in high school, and my youngest is in elementary school. Our family life is busy and fulfilling, and outside of school, I spend a lot of time watching two of my boys play baseball and helping my husband run our baseball team. I also cherish the moments I get to explore music and instruments with my middle son. I firmly believe that school should be a place of positive engagement and productive learning while also being fun and engaging. My goal for this year is to challenge my students and ensure they leave my class feeling that they have truly mastered 6th grade math.
