Dr. Renieda Johnson
Dr. Renieda Johnson has 12 years of experience in education which includes serving as a 7/8 grade Social Studies Teacher and Department Chair with Fort Worth ISD; 8th grade Social Studies and ELAR teacher in Mansfield ISD; basketball, volleyball, and track coach in Mansfield ISD later being named Coach of the Year in 2019; Assistant Principal in Duncanville ISD and Crandall ISD; Associate Professor in Undergraduate Studies with Ashford University; and Associate Professor in Graduate Studies with University of Arizona Global Campus. Dr. Johnson also served in the US Army and earned several distinctions in leadership. Her leadership experiences in both government and corporate organizations equipped her with many skillsets that has benefited her leadership contributions in education.
Dr. Johnson is married and has three beautiful daughters. She enjoys reading, praying, spending time with family, and working out. Her passion for education is easily summed up with a quote by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. Dr. Johnson is extremely excited to guide the students in Red Oak ISD to a successful academic experience that will support them towards college and career readiness. Her desires for all of the Hawks learning in Red Oak is to continue to soar to new heights and embrace every challenge along their journey because challenges make you stronger, wiser, and more determined to tackle new goals and reach success. Her administrative duties include Credit Recovery, HB 4545, PLCs, T-TESS, ELAR, and New Teacher Academy. You can find her office in the front office on the Main Campus.
