Mr. Jones is excited to be a part of the Red Oak Hawk family and looks forward to continuing the successes of the school community. He has been in education since 2008 where he started at Corsicana ISD as a Biology teacher. While with CISD, he worked in several different positions such as: teen leadership teacher, inclusion teacher, assistant coach-football, boys and girls soccer coordinator, special education department lead, and head coach boys and girls soccer. Mr. Jones has also worked with all levels (EC-12) as an assistant principal. He started at the elementary level at Blooming Grove Elementary in 2017.  In 2019, he moved back to the secondary level and worked in Teague ISD at both the junior high and high school. 

Mr. Jones received a B.S. in Biology from Texas State University - San Marcos along with a minor in Chemistry and Business Administration. He graduated with his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M - Commerce in 2015. 

In his spare time, Mr. Jones loves to spend time with his wife and their 3 children. If not with family, he can be found attempting to play golf, taking care of his 3 dogs or enjoying sports. He really looks forward to another great year of positively impacting the lives of students.
