This is my 30th year in education. I have taught all grades except Kindergarten, 1st, and 9th Grades. This is my 8th year at Red Oak ISD where I previously taught 5th ELAR, 6th ELAR, 6th Social Studies, 6th ELAR Resource, and was an educational diagnostician at Wooden Elementary and Red Oak High School. I decided to return to my love of SPED this year by becoming a diagnostician again.
I have been married to my husband, Dave, for over 36 years. We have two sons: David, 31 and Chris, 24. We have two spoiled German Shepherds named Lily and Maggie, who we absolutely adore. I am originally from Arkansas and can do an awesome Woo Pig Sooie call. My favorite hobbies are traveling, watching sports (anything Arkansas Razorbacks), and reading.
I am blessed to be back at Red Oak Middle School. I am looking forward to a great school year!
