I have taught middle school for 27 years, mainly math, but also science and reading.  This is my third year at Red Oak Middle School. Prior to coming to Red Oak I taught at Atascacita Middle School in Humble, Williams Middle School in Rockwall, and McDonald Middle School in Mesquite. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Educations & Math Education from Sam Houston State University, and a Masters of Science in Secondary Education from Texas A&M Commerce. Before teaching, I spent 9 years in the U.S. Navy.

My favorite school supplies are pencils (there are never enough), and Tul fine tip pens (all colors).

I have high expectations for my students, and will challenge them to reach beyond their comfort level with regards to math. 

I expect us to have a wonderful year here at ROMS.
