Experience:

I have enjoyed teaching at ROMS since 2007 in English/Language Arts and 7th grade Social Studies since 2022.  Prior to that I taught first grade for three years at Life School in Oak Cliff.  

Education:

I graduated from Waxahachie High School and then attended SAGU in Waxahachie.  I graduated with an A.A. in Business Administration, a B.S. in Music, and a Masters in History.   I am certified in EC-4, 4-8 ELAR, ESL, 4-8 Social Studies, and 6-12 History.

Personal:

I am married and have 4 daughters and we have lived in Red Oak since 2012.  We have 4 grandbabies.    We also have 1 dog, a beautiful German shepherd named Captain.  I love to travel, and since I have many cousins in Norway, enjoy that destination the most.  I also enjoy reading, swimming, and lots and lots of watermelon.

This year I am teaching 7th grade Honors Social Studies.
