Greetings Hawk Nation,

I am Shomeka Burnough from Dallas, Tx. I enjoy exercising, reading, line dancing and traveling. This is my 4th year teaching ELAR (reading and writing) and I definitely have a passion to educate students in grammar and writing techniques. I attended David W. Carter High School and graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in Arts and Science. I received my English certificate from Texas Teachers Of Tomorrow and I have been growing in the field of education ever since. I am excited about the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to working as a community to educate your children.
