I grew up near Denver, Colorado, and I moved to TX in the late 1990s to attend SAGU in Waxahachie. After I completed my Bachelors' Degree from SAGU, I attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. There, I earned a Master's Degree in School Administration. My teaching career began in 2004 at a private school in Cedar Hill, TX. There, I taught 10th and 12th grade English Language Arts/Reading and Journalism. Additionally, I was the varsity soccer coach for several years. I began my career in Red Oak ISD in 2008 teaching English III at Red Oak High School. I was also the Assistant Girl's Soccer Coach. I moved to administration in 2013 as the Assistant Principal at Red Oak Intermediate School. As the district transitioned away from the Intermediate School, I transitioned to Red Oak Middle School where I continue to serve the students of ROISD as an assistant principal.
