I have been a part of ROISD since 2019 and teaching Algebra here at the High School since 2022.  I have my BA in mathematics with a minor in education.  I have students ask me all the time "Why would you get a degree in math?" and the answer is that I love it!  Algebra is like a puzzle that is challenging and rewarding at the same time and, when presented in such a way how can a person not enjoy it?  

I have two amazing boys, one who is in elementary and the other here at the high school.  We love to travel during the summer, but during the school year we attend sporting events a lot of the time.  My youngest plays football, basketball, and baseball but wants to give soccer another try as well this year.  My oldest is working towards his Associates degree and a welding certificate along with his high school diploma!  Both of my boys make me super proud!
