Welcome to Biology

This is starting my 32nd year of teaching science.  This will be my sixth year at high school teaching biology.  I am also the Girls Varsity Assistant for Basketball and Track 

I attended Tarleton State where I earned a BS in biology and exercise and sports education.  I have been married to Bobby for 30 years.  We have 3 young adults: Paige, who is an attorney in Austin, Hailey, who is a sports anchor for CBS Sports HQ in Ft. Lauderdale, and our son Dailen, who is Captain in the Air Force, who is currently in Columbus Ms. as an instructor pilot.  We have two grandchildren, Zadie who has just turned 6 and will be going into 1st grade, and Hendrix, who is 3!  In my spare time (LOL) I love spending time with my family, getting outside, reading and now listening to podcasts (Serial is my new favorite).  I am a proud supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and love watching anything college sports related.  I am looking forward to an exciting and new adventure this year as we learn about biology.
