Degrees and Certifications:

B.S.E. in Mathematics from Ouachita Baptist University

Purtle, Brad

This is my 15th year at Red Oak High School and my 25th year overall.  I teach Honors Algebra I, Honors Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus and enjoy doing it.  I was born overseas in the Dominican Republic when my parents were missionaries; however I grew up in southwest Arkansas on a 1400 acre farm.  I was heavily involved in sports in high school and still enjoy playing today.  I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and then moved to Texas to begin teaching.  In my spare time, I enjoy working on as well as riding mountain bikes, playing basketball, golfing, pickleball, ping-pong, and most other sports.  I have been married for over 24 years to my wonderful wife Stephanie and we have two boys, fifteen months apart, so there is never a dull moment.

Please feel free to contact me by email or phone if you have questions or concerns, and I will try to respond within 24 hours.
My conference period is 7th period (2:50-3:15pm).
