My name is Gornaia Griggs, I am a Kindergarten teacher at Russell P. Schupmann Elementary School. I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and I moved to Texas in 2007. I am married with two children and blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelors in Sociology and Communications. I am currently working towards completing my certification program through Texas Teacher of Tomorrow.   

I want to welcome your scholar to Kindergarten and I look forward to an amazing year of learning and growing.  We are going to do so many fun and new things this year.  We will learn about numbers, letters, shapes, reading, math, writing, and so much more.  I can’t wait to see how successful your scholar will be this year. I truly am excited!
