Fine Arts

The goal of the Fine Arts Staff in Red Oak ISD is to support all students in achieving the district vision by providing students the opportunity to create, perform, interact, and expand their horizons through visual and performing arts. We believe arts education is an important piece of a well-balanced curriculum, and essential to our student success. 

Fine Arts Classes at Schupmann Elementary:

Students have Music for approximately 6 weeks, followed by 3 weeks of Art. There will be 3 three-week sections of Art this school year.

All fourth and fifth graders learn to play the recorder during Music classes.

Fourth and fifth graders are invited to join an all-volunteer Choir which meets weekly. Select fifth graders are also invited to participate in an All District Honor Choir.
