Mrs. Jackson, Amy
Hi! My name is Amy Jackson. This year begins my 25th year in education! In addition to teaching in Texas, I also taught in Hawaii for 4 years and I completed my student teaching in the Bahamas and Oklahoma. I have taught everything from Pre-K to High School English, but my absolute favorite grade is 4th grade! I specifically have a love for teaching reading & writing to students of all ages and ability levels. This is my third year at Schupmann. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 29 years. I am a mom to two twenty-five-year-old twin daughters who are second generation teachers that teach 1st and 2nd grade in Mansfield. I also have a son who is starting 8th grade this year, and he keeps me busy playing sports. Outside of teaching, I also serve in my local church as a minister and pastor's wife. I also enjoy singing, acting, working out at the gym, swimming, traveling, and watching sports with my family. This is going to be a GREAT year, and I am proud of being a hawk! We are MADE FOR THIS and SHINE BRIGHTER TOGETHER!!
