My name is Ofelia Fatherree. I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. I came to Texas 12 years ago and recently became an American citizen. I married my husband Jeff 5 years ago and we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter.
I used to be an accountant in Mexico but that was not my passion. When I came to Texas I completed an Alternate certification program with Region 4 and now I have an EC-6 Bilingual certificate. Started working as a teacher back in 2012 and fell in love with the profession. I was a 5th grade bilingual teacher for 8 years in Mesquite, Texas. Now I am joining the Russell P. Schupmann family as a 3rd grade bilingual teacher.
I am excited to meet my students and their families for an amazing school year.
