Greetings Red Oak Family!

My name is Brittany Knighten. I am so honored to be a part of this amazing district.  I am originally from Chicago, IL.  I received my Bachelors degree in Education from Chicago State University in 2012.  After teaching in Chicago, I moved to Nashville, TN.  My family and I spent 2 great years in Nashville and then relocated to Dallas, TX.  Throughout the years, I have taught Pre K and Kindergarten. I am a proud advocate for early learning and for nurturing young children in all areas of development. My husband, Gerald, and I have 2 children, Gabrielle and Trip. We also have fur baby, who we call Nino.
