I have fallen in love with helping students grow socially and emotionally so that they can thrive. I enjoy introducing coping skills, mindfulness, and expressing our emotions in healthy ways. I have a passion for helping students regulate their emotions. I plan to have a comprehensive school counseling program to provide mental health awareness, mindfulness, coping skills, conflict resolution, as well as college and career
readiness. 

I grew up in McKinney, Texas and have lived there most of my life. I received my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary studies from Stephen F. Austin State University, and my Master’s Degree in school counseling from Amberton University. I am certified EC-12th grade. I taught for 9 years in elementary school before switching to school counseling. I am a member of ASCA and LSSSCA counseling organizations.

When I am not at work, I enjoy time with my friends and family. I got married in 2019 and have two young boys. We love to spend time outside, any kind of sporting events, and just laughing and enjoying each other's company.
