Aimee Friesenhahn began her career in education in 2006 and has taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and Reading Recovery, and been an Instructional Media Specialist and an Assistant Principal. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos and her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis on Literacy and Principal Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. She and her husband have two boys, Sean and Landon.
