Hello! My name is Betty Gómez and I'm the 3rd grade Bilingual Math and Science teacher. In our classroom we learn many academic skills, but we also work on embracing our differences. It's a great privilege to serve students and parents at Wooden Elementary. 

I've been teaching since 2013, when I decided to move to Texas from Puerto Rico. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico in 2009. In 2017, I earned my Master's of Education in Advance Literacy from Concordia University Texas. 

I've been married since 2002 to my husband Rey, and we have two kids, Gabriel and Paola. When I'm not teaching, I love trying new restaurants, traveling, and being with my family.
