Hello, my name is Mrs. Kunkel and I'm excited about teaching 2nd grade again this year!

I graduated from Baylor University in 2009, and then moved to Red Oak in 2012. My husband graduated from ROISD and also works for the district. I have been married for fifteen years, and I have a nine-year-old daughter and two sweet dogs. In my free time I love reading, baking, playing card games, and hanging out with my family. I can't wait to help my students soar this year, and I am always here to help, so parents feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have! Here is our schedule this 2024-2025 school year.

10:45-11:15 Recess

2:15-3:00 Talon Time

My conference time will be 8:10-9:00
