Mr. Thomas Lovett

Thomas Lovett has had a varied Artistic and Musical career, with teaching experiences that span the College, High School, Middle School, and Elementary levels. Mr. Lovett was a Graduate Violin Assistant at the University of Tennessee in 2011-2013, while completing his Master's Degree. Having won the Concerto Competition at both Universities, he performed a Violin Concerto with the University of Oklahoma and University of Tennessee's Symphony Orchestras respectively. His professional violin career has included playing with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Knoxville Symphony, and Amarillo Symphony. He earned an Artist Diploma from the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Lovett served as Guest Artist Faculty at NYU's Collaborative Strings Festival, and Faculty at the Music Mountain Festival in Connecticut. Mr. Lovett has performed in Master Classes with Almita Vamos, and Allesio Capone from the Berlin Philharmonic. Having moved to Ellis county in 2019, Mr. Lovett is honored to be teaching in Red Oak, and is committed to growing the Artistic heart of all of his students.
