Mrs. Melanie Hughes
My name is Melanie Hughes and I teach Resource Math. I have been working in elementary schools for 25 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science and Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Texas A&M. I have teaching certificates for Special Education, ESL, and General Education. Teaching stems from my love for learning and my desire to make a positive impact on young minds. Outside the classroom, I enjoy being outdoors camping and kayaking.
My teaching philosophy: I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and that it is my role to provide a supportive and stimulating environment where they can thrive.
