Bergman, Rachelle
My name is Rachelle Bergman, and I am thrilled to be the ELAR Instructional Coach at Russell P. Schupmann Elementary school.
Originally from Minnesota, I joined the Air Force in 1998 and was stationed in Omaha, NE where I met my husband of 20 years. After Omaha, we followed the military and various civilian jobs all across the country to include stops in Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Oregon, California, and finally, Red Oak, TX. Our family of 6 planted our roots here in 2014. We have 3 children in the district in grades 6, 9, and 10, and one Baylor Bear. In our spare time, we love to relax in the pool, play billiards (the other pool), and participate in all things Red Oak Mighty Hawk Band related. GO HAWKS!
In 2014, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. In 2017, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Education from Dallas Baptist University. I have been teaching in Red Oak ISD at RPS since 2018, teaching Reading and Social Studies for grades 3 and 4. I absolutely love teaching the students of this community and thrive on experiencing the students’ “aha” moments. It is truly a joy to serve here in Red Oak.
As the ELAR Instructional Coach, I look forward to continuing to work with the students, but also working alongside the amazing teachers at RPS. My role will be to support teachers with finding resources, knowing how to best use the resources we have, planning for instruction, analyzing data and adjusting instruction accordingly, and assisting with classroom management. I look forward to this tremendous opportunity and a fantastic school year - Schupmann is the place to be!
