Hawk Scholars Information:

Hawk Scholars Academy (HSA) is a cohort of students who participate in extensive dual credit coursework beginning their freshman or sophomore year of high school. The goal of HSA is to earn up to 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree. To be considered a Hawk Scholar upon graduation, a student must have completed enough hours to be Texas core complete (approximately 42-48 hours). This is established by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for all undergraduate students in Texas.

Students may also complete 18 additional hours of college credit to earn an Associate’s Degree through Navarro College.

Hawk Scholars Academy graduates will be recognized at graduation.

Unique to the Hawk Scholars Academy is the fact that students continue to be a part of the main ROHS campus while having the same opportunities for extracurricular activities and experiences as their classmates.
