Sergeant Fullerton is a proud Red Oak High School graduate. He served in the US Army before starting his career in law enforcement. Sergeant Fullerton has over 30 years in law enforcement, is a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas Leadership Command College, and currently holds a Master Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). He is a TCOLE Instructor and Firearms Instructor. Sergeant Fullerton is also an Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Instructor for Level I, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE), Active Attack Integrated Response (AAIR), Solo Officer Response Deployment (SORD), and Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events (ERASE).
Sergeant Fullerton has experience as a patrol officer, patrol supervisor, crime scene technician, detective, and Chief of Police. Most of his career has been in the Red Oak and Ovilla Area, though he spent a year in Afghanistan as a police mentor. Sergeant Fullerton is married and is proud to have raised his own “Red Oak Hawks”!
