Since 2013, the Texas Education Agency developed a new accountability system based on the STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) tests as well as other indicators.
Accountability ratings are also available for 2004 through 2011. Note that no state accountability ratings were assigned for 2012.
The School Report Cards (SRC), produced annually for each Texas public school campus, contain some information from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), as well as some information from the Accountability Rating System for Texas Public Schools and Districts.
The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
The 2011-2012 school year was the last year for AEIS Reports. Starting with the 2012-2013 school year, TEA developed a new accountability reporting system based on the STAAR test and other indicators.
This search will produce multiyear AEIS Reports for a selected school or district. You may choose either an HTML report to view online or a print-ready PDF file which can easily be saved to a computer's hard drive or to any portable media and printed.
