WHAT:        Registration and enrollment for Fall 2023

WHEN:        Online registration launches Tuesday, April 18 at 6 p.m.

Red Oak ISD continues to see growth across the District and the use of an online portal for both returning student registration and new student enrollment allows families to complete all paperwork from home.

PRE-K ENROLLMENT

Full-day Pre-K enrollment for the next school year (2023-2024) will be on a first-come, first-served basis when the online portal opens on Tuesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. Pre-K enrollment will be time-stamped when completed online and slots will be filled based on the completion time. Red Oak ISD expanded to full-day Pre-K at all campuses in 2022-2023.  

Initial slot allotment for 2023-24 Full-Day Pre-K Programs*:

• Eastridge ES             1 English Class (22 slots)
• Red Oak ES              2 English Classes (44 slots)
• Schupmann ES        1 English Class (22 slots) and 1 Dual Language Class (22 slots)
• Shields ES                2 English Classes (44 slots)
• Wooden ES               1 English Class (22 slots) and 1 Dual Language Class (22 slots)

*Additional classes will be added as enrollment warrants.

Parents/guardians can log on to the Red Oak ISD website (www.redoakisd.org) to enroll. Follow the New Student Online Enrollment process and upload documents, if able, including vaccination records, student proof of identification (birth certificate), parent ID, and two proofs of residency (such as mortgage statement, tax statement, and utility bills; see website for acceptable documents).

“We are excited to offer full-day pre-kindergarten for our youngest students who meet the state eligibility requirements,” stated Superintendent Brenda Sanford. “As educators, we know the value of early education and look forward to serving our families.”

Once the online registration/enrollment is complete, the district will contact families to schedule an intake appointment. The appointment will include any additional documentation for eligibility and/or testing required.

RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION

Parents/guardians of current students can log on to the Red Oak ISD website (www.redoakisd.org) to register for the next school year, 2023-2024. Click on the Returning Student Online Registration to see instructions and start the registration process through your Skyward Family Access account. All returning student registrations must include Proof of Residency documentation as part of the process.

Early registration allows students to complete summer activities, expedites the process for courses and devices in the fall, and assists with District planning and staffing.
