Red Oak ISD is committed to developing students and staff that embody the 4 Talons. While we reach many aspects in the course of a school day, we also want to offer community projects for the district students, groups, staff, PTAs/parents, and even the community to participate in together. While we are in the midst of COVID protocols, the major of our fall community service projects will be outside with limited participation. We hope to provide such a day each semester to expand our outreach as part of our desire to unite the community. We have 320 volunteer spots for this event!
Projects for Monday, October 26 were solicited from ROISD campuses, operations, and community and family services department, and with City of Red Oak Parks and Recreation. We will explore other projects in the spring. All volunteers will need to wear outdoor work-appropriate clothing, gloves, masks (worn if within 6 feet of other volunteers/staff). Please bring your own water bottle as well.ROISD Staff are encouraged to wear their UNITE shirts!
